WHAT A NIGHT!!!

Today was the 2010 BET Awards and as promised Kanye West performed. In fact, he was the opening act. Its been a while since we have seen Kanye on our television screens but it was a great performance. I was really diggin the stage settings and the aesthetics that came along with his performance.

Comments and speculations have been made regarding the performance supposedly there was a illuminati reference but I am not sure & I really don't care.

Intelligent & Talented : Such a Beautiful Mix

I got this off of the kidults site & I found this blogworthy. Mr. Miranda is a great composer and lyricist and is behind the music for many Broadway plays and more recently the show "The Heights". I have been reading and learning more about what this guy does and I love what I see. He has great intelligence,creativity,and talent and he mixes these elements so beautifully. I haven't seen anything like it.

I recently ran into this youtube video of Dwele paying homage to Michael Jackson. This time last year, Michael Jackson died. There were a lot of mixed emotions going around. A lot of sadness but it was overshadowed by joy as most fans celebrated the life of Michael Jackson.

I remember 2 years ago watching John Wall's mixtape on youtube. He was the most talked about player before going into college basketball!!! And just last night he was selected first by the Washington Wizards. Its great to see athletes live up to their hype and do great things. I know a couple people myself trying to get to the NBA (but thats a story for another day).

I'm Liking this!

I've seen the previous episode and I started getting interested in the whole direction Gatorade was going. They have been advertising athletes for the longest but they haven't really caught the attention of majority of their consumers like these episodes are taking. It is something serious & you gotta commend Nigel Sylvester on his dope BMX skills. Had I known you could go this far with BMX biking, I would've been crafting my skills also. But thats another story for another day.

yea yea i know, Eminem put out the Relapse album earlier this year. But I wasn't feeling it, it felt kinda absurd to me but its whatever though cuz he's back with this new album "Recovery" with the first single "Not Afraid".
